Robert E. Lee, III MD

Ophthalmology

Dr. Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree with high honors from the University of Notre Dame. He attended Duke University Medical School and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh where he finished as Chief Resident. Dr. Lee joined Southern Shores Eye Center in 1998. He is a managing partner since 2003. Dr. Lee is an active Board Certified Ophthalmologist serving the Manahawkin and surrounding communities for over 20 years. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He serves on the Operations Committee of AtlantiCare Surgery Centers. Dr. Lee is actively involved in Multifocal Premium and Toric IOLs in advanced sutureless cataract surgery. He offers minimally invasive glaucoma surgery at the time of cataract extraction using the Glaukos iStent. Dr. Lee is proficient in Botox® and Juvéderm administration. He offers additional treatments to tighten, revitalize, and rejuvenate the skin. Dr. Lee is pleased to offer these services to his patients to maximize their vision and well-being!
